The only cookie this website may set is a strictly functional language-preference cookie named NEXT_LOCALE.

It is set only when you manually change the website's language. It stores nothing more than a language code (for example, "en" or "de"), contains no personal data, and is used solely to remember your language choice on future visits.

If you never change the language, this cookie is not set.

3. Why no consent banner is required

Under the EU ePrivacy Directive and national implementations (in Italy, the Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003) and the Garante's cookie guidelines), consent is not required for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user.

Because the NEXT_LOCALE cookie is set only as a direct result of your own action (choosing a language) and serves only that functional purpose, it falls within the strictly-necessary exemption. That is why you will not see a cookie-consent banner on this site.

4. Strictly necessary security cookies (Cloudflare)

Our infrastructure is protected by Cloudflare, which may set strictly necessary security cookies to detect and mitigate malicious traffic and to keep the Service available. These cookies are used for security purposes only and do not track you across sites.

5. Managing cookies and more information

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings; blocking the functional language cookie simply means your language preference will not be remembered.
